Yesterday in sunny Cape Town, I went to the DVD Launch of Love The One You Love a film by Jenna Bass who was in attendance. Independent film gatherings are so rare especially South African films so I was excited to attend this one and also purchase my own unique copy of the film. I had so much fun decorating the cover with all kinds of stickers and asked Jenna to write a message. So this copy is exclusively mine and you won't find it anywhere else!
Hosted by the South African Market-SAM on Bree Street, the vibe was cool, calm and relaxed.
I have not seen the film yet, I cannot wait to do so. I have been on the hunt for the film since the beginning of this year, now that I have my own copy, I can tick that off and add to my personal collection of awesome films. Let me know what you think of the film without giving away spoilers.
**Side Note: The title of this film makes me think of Luther Vandross's song 'And if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you with'. It's actually quite hilarious! I highly doubt that is the message of the film, I need to get this tune out of my head.
